| Man struck, killed by train in Elizabeth, NJ Transit says ... bound for Trenton on the Northeast Corridor line -- struck the man at approximately 11:20 p.m. near the Elizabeth train station, according to Jim Smith, a spokesperson for NJ Transit. The man's identity was not immediately available Sunday. Smith said the crash is under investigation by transit police.
