| Police: Elderly man, woman killed in apparent murder-suicide CLAIRTON, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say an elderly man and woman found dead at a home near Pittsburgh died in what appears to have been a murder-suicide. Police and paramedics were sent to a Clairton home at about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday after a report about an unresponsive person on a porch.

| Man charged with jaywalking after getting hit by truck HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) — A man in a New Jersey city who was hit by a truck crossing the street has been issued a summons for jaywalking. The 57-year-old man was hit by a pick-up truck Tuesday evening in Hackensack. The Record reports police say he was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.
