| New Jersey woman gets lost, rescued while hiking Mount Welch in Waterville Valley Jennifer Mehling, 26, of Westampton, N.J., used her cell phone to call New Hampshire Fish and Game at 5:15 p.m., reporting that she was lost and stuck on icy, steep ... A state conservation officer then located the hiker at 6:45 p.m. and she was about 1.4 miles from the head of the hiking trail she was on.
